Who’s Who: More changes in the crew
“Finca Argayall, Bhavani, hello….”, she answers the phone with her gentle telephone voice, when it rings in the Finca office.Bhavani has been permanently on the Finca Crew for two years. In Spring 2010, she replaced Mamta as the main Finca receptionist.
With her patient and soft way, she instantly captured the hearts of our guests. In the meantime, she is also caring for the groups and assists in updating the Finca’s website.
Richard arrived at the beginning of this year to work in the technical department.
He is from London and a good friend of our Chef, Brian.
As a craftsman, Richard is an all-around talent, but it is especially beautiful to observe his work as a carpenter.
His first assignment was the construction of the roof between the Crew space and the Crew kitchen. During the retreat, he designed the shelves next to the refrigerator as well as the new bookshelves for the kitchen.
Paolo, a born Italian, who is already at home on the island of Gomera, having lived here for a long time, decided this spring to join our life in the Finca community.
The veggie garden is his empire!
When we were plagued by caterpillars in May almost eating up our whole garden, his equanimity was a bit shaken.
Meanwhile, he has everything under control again, and is happy when his little son Nuri comes for a visit.
